"Nha Trang Go Green Run 2023", a cross-country running race held by Vietravel, took place in Nha Trang City on December 8. Present at the opening ceremony were Tran Thi Viet Huong, chairwoman of the Labor Union of Vietravel; leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Tourism; and representatives of Vega City tourist site.
"Nha Trang Go Green Run 2023" was a part of the activities to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the establishment of Vietravel (December 20, 1995 - December 20, 2023). 250 people, including 210 officers and employees of 7 branches of Vietravel in the central and central highland regions, participated in the race.
The races aimed to encourage Vietravel employees and Nha Trang people to practice sports to improve health; protect the environment; and have a healthy lifestyle. Each kilometer of the runners was equivalent to VND10,000; the money will be used for social and charity activities.
Besides this cross-country running race, Vietravel has carried out other activities to spread the message about environmental protection.
After the opening ceremony, the runners ran 5km from Do Theatre along the seaside road in the area of Luong Son Pass. Finally, the organization board gave prizes to the top 5 male runners and top 5 female runners.
