Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, on March 13 chaired a meeting with the members of the steering committee of the provincial Phu Dong sports festival of the 2023-24 school year.

Dinh Van Thieu directed the Provincial Department of Education and Training to take main responsibility and cooperate with the provincial departments of culture and sports and health, Provincial Police and other related units to organize the festival; ensure the safety for the participants; assure security and order and fire and explosion safety.
Khanh Hoa Province’s Phu Dong sports festival of the 2023-24 school year is scheduled to take place at sports grounds and sports centers in Nha Trang City from March 27 to April 5. The opening ceremony and closing ceremony are organized at Nha Trang University on March 28 and April 5 respectively. The festival is joined by 8 bureaus of education and training and 33 high schools over the province with around 3,100 participants; includes 11 sports namely athletics, physical exercises, shuttlecock kicking, stick pushing, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, football, swimming, badminton, chess.
