The beach volleyball teams of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the national beach volleyball junior tournament and national 4x4 beach volleyball championship 2024 held in Kien Giang Province recently. This is the second time this year that Sanvinest Khanh Hoa teams have won the tournament, through which the continued to prove their strength in this sport.

The national beach volleyball junior tournament and national 4x4 beach volleyball championship 2024 was jointly organized by Kien Giang Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, Vietnam Volleyball Federation and Ha Tien City People's Committee from July 15 to 21. The tournament was joined by more than 170 male and female athletes from 8 teams from the provinces and cities with strong beach volleyball movement over the country such as Khanh Hoa, Army Corps 4, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Hai Phong, and Kien Giang. The tournament provided an opportunity for the athletes to play with each other, improve their skills and promote beach volleyball movement, which is considered a forte of the host province, as said by Tran Nguyen Ba - deputy director of Kien Giang Provincial Department of Culture and Sports. Kien Giang overcame Ho Chi Minh City to claim victory in women’s event of the national beach volleyball junior tournament.
Sanvinest Khanh Hoa’s female and male athletes have been highly appreciated and considered the favorites for the championship titles, and they satisfied their supporters with 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Sanvinest Khanh Hoa participated in the junior tournament and championship with 1 junior team of male athletes and 2 professional teams of female and male athletes. After 1 week of competition, Khanh Hoa athletes won junior men’s event, professional women’s and men’s events. Besides, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Nguyen Le Tuong Vy of Khanh Hoa were selected as the best male and female athletes respectively. This was the 4th consecutive championship of Khanh Hoa female athletes since the 4x4 event was officially incorporated in the national beach volleyball tournament in 2020.

According to Nguyen Trong Quoc, head coach of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, although the team were facing some difficulties due to the absence of the 2 female athletes Tuyet Van and Lan Nguyen (due to individual reasons), the promoted young athletes namely Thanh Tien and Thuc Uyen display well and contributed to the achievements of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa. This year, Khanh Hoa’s young beach volleyball male athletes also performed excellently and claimed their second consecutive championship in 4x4 event.
In 2024, with 3 championships in junior men’s event, professional men's and women's events at the national beach volleyball junior championship and national 2x2 beach volleyball championship in Phu Yen Province in May and the 2 aforementioned championships at the junior tournament and championship in Kien Giang Province, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa once again proved their superiority in the domestic beach volleyball.
