Over 500 players join national family badminton and table tennis tournament

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 national family badminton and table tennis tournament in Nha Trang City on August 18.

The tournament attracts more than 500 male and female players, who are family members of 35 teams from provinces and cities across the country. The players are divided into age categories of under 35 to over 56 and compete in the events of husband and wife; father and son; mother and daughter; father and daughter; mother and son.

The tournament aims to evaluate family badminton and table tennis movement in localities and sectors nationwide; promote the movement of physical exercise and sports in general, badminton and table tennis in particular among all classes of people; and strengthen the attachment between family members.

The tournament ends in August 22.
