Over 300 players join Nha Trang City rapid and blitz chess tournament 2024

On August 31, Nha Trang City Center for Culture, Information, and Sports organized the opening ceremony of the city rapid and blitz chess tournament 2024.

The tournament attracts more than 300 male and female chess players from clubs of 17 units in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province and neighboring provinces such as Van Ninh District, Cam Ranh City, Ninh Hoa Town, Gia Lai Province, Ninh Thuan Province, and Lam Dong Province. The players compete in rapid chess and blitz chess across six age groups: U6, U7, U8, U9, U11, and 12 and over, vying for 30 sets of medals.

The tournament is organized to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024). It is also part of the city's movement sports events and summer activities.

The tournament ends on September 1 afternoon.
