Sanvinest Khanh Hoa ended the 2024 season successfully with double wins in men’s and women’s events at the recent 2024 national youth beach volleyball tournament and 2x2 team championship in Can Tho Province.

The tournament was jointly organized by Can Tho City Department of Culture and Sports and Vietnam Volleyball Federation. It was played by 112 athletes from 9 units, provinces, cities and sectors with strong beach volleyball movements in the country including: Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, Army Corps 4, Hai Phong, Military Region 5, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ben Tre, Kien Giang, and Can Tho.
The tournament played an important role in the national sports competition system, helping to promote the training and development of beach volleyball athletes nationwide. Through the tournament, young athletes had the opportunity to compete and improve their skills. This was also an occasion for the organizers to select outstanding young talents for the national youth team, preparing them to participate in international competitions and gradually keep up with the continental beach volleyball.
The national beach volleyball tournaments have always seen fierce competition among Khanh Hoa, Army Corps 4, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho. At the 2023 national 2x2 team tournament, Ho Chi Minh City won men's event and Can Tho placed first in women's event. At that tournament, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa athletes were not in their best form due to injuries. This year, they showed superiority in this sport, overcoming Army Corps 4 in men’s final and Can Tho in women’s final to claim 2 gold medals.
With these 2 gold medals, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa finished the 2024 season successfully. Notably, this year, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa female athletes have won 3 gold medals in all 3 national tournaments; male athletes have won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Meanwhile, their youth team have won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal.
In addition to the double gold medals in men's and women's events, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa won 1 bronze medal, 1 silver medal in the youth category, and 2 awards for excellent female and male athletes.
Female athlete Ngo Vo Thanh Loan, who used to be an excellent athlete of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa in the 2017-2018 and now works as a coach, took part in the 2024 national 2x2 team championship as an athlete and contributed to the powerful strength of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa in women’s event.
