Gold Star V.League 2-2023/24 (national first division football league) is going to kick off officially at Tu Do Stadium, Thua Thien Hue Province on October 26 with the opening match between Thua Thien Hue and Dong Thap. 

Gold Star V.League 2-2023/24 is played by 11 teams. The opening day will see 3 matches between Thua Thien Hue and Dong Thap (in the morning), Hoa Binh and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc (at Hoa Binh Stadium, Hoa Binh Province in the afternoon) and Khatoco Khanh Hoa and Phu Dong Ninh Binh (at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium, Nha Trang City in the evening). On October 27, there will be two matches between Long An and PVF - People's Police (Long An Stadium), Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Nai. Youth Ho Chi Minh City (odd-number team) is the only team that won’t play in the first round.
