Khanh Hoa to return to national playgrounds under name Khatoco Khanh Hoa 

Khanh Hoa Province’s football team has finalized the roster for the 2024-2025 National Cup with 33 members. More than half of 26 listed players are the young ones. Since this season, Khanh Hoa Province’s football will return to national playgrounds under the name Khatoco Khanh Hoa.

Tran Trong Binh continues to lead Khanh Hoa’s football team at the National Cup

Khanh Hoa will start the new season 2024-2025 with the opening match of the National Cup qualifying round against PVF - People's Police at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium in mid-October. Recently, Khanh Hoa has registered their roster participating in the National Cup qualifying round with 33 members, including 7 officials and coaches and 26 players.

The coaching board of Khanh Hoa’s football team remains unchanged with head coach Tran Trong Binh and 2 assistant coaches Nguyen Tan Dien and Nguyen Tuan Manh. This is the coaching board which have instructed Khanh Hoa’s football team since the first half of the 2023-2024 national championship season after coach Vo Dinh Tan resigned. Also since the new season 2024-2025, Khanh Hoa will play under the new name Khatoco Khanh Hoa instead of Khanh Hoa FC. In fact, Khatoco Khanh Hoa was the name of Khanh Hoa’s football team over 10 years ago.

More than half of the players of Khatoco Khanh Hoa for the 2024-2025 National Cup are the U21 players promoted from the second division clubs and teams. The others are the senior players of Khanh Hoa’s football such as defenders Le Cao Hoai An, Nguyen Doan Duy Anh, Nguyen Minh Loi; midfielders Ho, Le Nguyen Thanh Vi, Huynh Nhat Tan; striker Duong Doan Cong Hau; and goalkeeper Vo Ngoc Cuong. Khatoco Khanh Hoa expect to decide their roster for the new season of V.League 2.

Due to financial difficulties, after the 2023-2024 season, only 7 players of Khanh Hoa FC have stayed with the team. These are the U21 players promoted to Khanh Hoa FC at the end of the season. Hopefully, with the support of the province’s authorities and the new sponsor, Khanh Viet Corporation, Khanh Hoa football, under the name Khatoco Khanh Hoa, can continue to stay firmly at professional playgrounds.
