According to Ngo Minh Tu, chairman of Khanh Hoa Yoga Federation, Khanh Hoa Yoga Federation, established in 2020, is a relatively fledgling one compared to other sports associations and federations in the province. However, thanks to the support of the province’s sports sector, localities and units, the activities of the federation have had in-depth quality. After the federation successfully organized the first Provincial Club Yoga Cup, the Provincial Yoga Championship and especially mass yoga session celebrating the 8th International Yoga Day at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City (2021), the number of the federation’s members has increased significantly. Currently, Khanh Hoa Yoga Federation has 21 clubs and more than 200 members. Khanh Hoa Yoga Federation has signed a joint agreement with the yoga federations of Binh Thuan Province, Ninh Thuan Province and Dong Nai Province. Since then, the federations and localities have closely cooperated in organizing training courses for yoga instructors and practitioners as well as movement activities of yoga.

Khanh Hoa Yoga Federation has collaborated with Vietnam Yoga Federation in compiling pedagogical training materials for yoga instructors, which have been reviewed by the council of Vietnam Yoga Federation; compiled a book on training yoga instructors; organized and cooperated with yoga clubs to open training classes for yoga instructors and practitioners. In addition, the federation regularly sends athletes to national and open competitions across the country and achieved many successes. Specifically, in April 2024, at the National Yoga Club Cup held in Binh Duong Province, Khanh Hoa won 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals. In early November, Khanh Hoa yoga athletes won 3 gold medals and 6 silver medals, ranking 3rd at Binh Thuan Province Open Club Cup.

Reportedly, the yoga athletes of the Provincial Yoga Federation are actively training for the National Yoga Championship scheduled to start in Da Nang City at the end of November. It can be seen through the achievements of Khanh Hoa yoga practitioners in recent years that the province’s yoga movement is gradually developing well with promising prospects for further development.
