Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 conveys message of love for national sea and islands

More than 3,150 runners have registered for Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest-Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024, which takes place on the evening of December 14. In addition to its purpose of promoting health and its humanitarian meanings, this running race also conveys message of love for national sea and islands through collecting rubbish on the beach and cleaning up the beach in Nha Trang City.

Supporting beach cleaning activity 

It is the love for the sea, islands and climate in Nha Trang City that has kept Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, coming from Nam Dinh Province, working at Nha Trang University, in the beach city for more than 20 years. On weekends, Yen and other members of her running group often run along the coastal roads in Nha Trang City. The beauties of Nha Trang’s landscape in early morning or late afternoon bring the runners pleasant emotions. 170 members of the running group registered for the beach cleaning activity of Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest-Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 to show their support for the meaningful event and to express their love for the sea and islands.

30 members of another running group, including Cao Thi Thuy, Director of SCB Bank Khanh Hoa Branch, registered to participate in Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest-Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024. Thuy has been living in Nha Trang City for 22 years and also has a love for sea, islands and landscape in Nha Trang. Therefore, learning that the running race includes beach cleaning activity , Thuy and other members of her running group are eager to join the activity and widely convey the message of love for national sea and islands.

Meaning activity for environment, conveying love for sea and islands

As said by Cung Phu Quoc, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest-Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 aims to promote the campaign titled “All people exercise following great Uncle Ho's example”; promote physical exercise movement in Khanh Hoa Province as well as across the country in order to improve health and quality of life and build a healthy lifestyle and good cultural environment. Additionally, the running race also aims to promote the beauty of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa and stimulate tourism. The race is expected to bring the runners unique experiences and introduce local famous tourist destinations along the race route. It is also intended to send a message of mutual support through raising funds for a free eye surgery program for the underprivileged.

Through the cleaning activity within the framework of Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest-Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024, the organizing committee also wants to convey the love for national sea and islands, promote the beautiful images of Nha Trang Bay to tourists, and raise public awareness of significance of the sea and islands. This activity takes place at the beach area along Pham Van Dong Street, opposite Hon Do (Vinh Tho Ward) at 5:30am on December 14, with around 180 participants including the staff of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, the organizing committee and the runners, officials and employees of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Soft Drink Joint Stock Company, Nha Trang City Youth Union, Vinh Tho Ward People's Committee, and Nha Trang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company.
