Kicking off at Nha Trang University's football field on June 15, VPL-S6 qualifying round was played by Friendly, Gia Gia, TK Gaming, Gia Bao, QM Event and Minh Quan. Finally, Friendly won the championship; Gia Bao secured second prize; QM Event finished third; Gia Gia won fair play prize. The extra prizes besides the main ones included excellent coach (Friendly), excellent goalkeeper (Friendly), top scorer (Gia Gia), and excellent player (Friendly).

With the VPL-S6 championship of south central region, Friendly proceed to the final round of the tournament (VPL-S) scheduled to take place in Hanoi at the end of July.
