Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 stimulate summer tourism in Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa

Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 sports and off-road race, which is first organized in Nha Trang City by Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ky Nguyen Group, promises to bring spectators thrilling, suspenseful and adventurous competition of the racers and help stimulate summer tourism in Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa.

Looking forward to exciting race

Victory Challenge Sailun Cup is an annual race and renowned for attracting the largest number of racers in Vietnam. The race not only appeals to racers from motorsport and off-road clubs across the country but also to camping groups, spectators, and the race partners. Notably, the 2025 edition expands range of racers to all licensed SUV and camper van owners. Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 features 80 teams racing in 5 categories: professional, upgrade, basic pickup, original SUV, and camping. The demonstration race takes place at Pham Van Dong beach area (Hon Do area), Nha Trang City from June 20 to 22; the main race takes place at the area of Dac Loc Lake (Vinh Phuong Commune) from June 18 to 22.

Featuring over 50 tests taking place in 5 days (the longest competition schedule in the race’s history), Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 is designed to comprehensively test the vehicle handling skills of the racers while providing spectators with thrilling and dramatic competition. The highlight of this year's race is the mandatory completion of Twilight Zone (TZ) for all five categories. This is a significant change from previous seasons where TZ was exclusive to professional and upgrade. The TZ track is designed with large rock obstacles and scarce natural anchor points, which demands meticulous calculation and precision. The difficulty of TZ will be designed appropriately for each category.

“Victory Challenge Sailun Cup has been held in many different localities in Vietnam. Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa is an attractive destination.  We changed from planning to organize the race in another locality to organizing in Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa after receiving approval from Khanh Hoa’s leaders and active support from Khanh Hoa Newspaper and agencies and units in the province, said Doan Kieu Dung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ky Nguyen Group.

Connecting community

In the first time being organized in the central coastal region in general and Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa in particular, the organizing committee of Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 hope to bring local people and tourists in the coastal city impressive experiences with this action sport. Besides, the organizers also aim to connect the community and contribute to promoting tourism development.

According to Thai Thi Le Hang, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Head of the organizing committee, Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 aims to contribute to the development of tourism associated with sports events. The race is also an activity in the series of main events and activities of the 2025 Sea Tourism - Culture Festival organized by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee throughout June. Therefore, the racing tournament also has significance in maintaining the vibrant atmosphere of this festival. This is a new event and appeal to people who love this type of adventure sport as well as domestic and international tourists. The race is also expected to effectively introduce and promote the tourism products of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa through the diversity of natural mountains and forests combined with the beauty of the sea and islands.

With Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025, the organizers wish to create an exciting playground for sports and off-road vehicle community and make racing a community sport. This race also serves as an opportunity for participants to enhance their safe driving skills and promote responsible traffic culture. The organizing committee plan to turn the race into an annual tournament in the province on an international scale and held at different locations to increase the racers’ experience and promote the racing venues.
For the first time ever, Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2025 will give prizes to the clubs with the best achievements in the upgrade and basic pickup categories; the best co-driver in each category; unique vehicles; impressive club; fair play club; club with best solidarity; the best female team.
