Vietnam mixed martial arts Lion Championship 2025 is scheduled to take place at Cam Ranh Square on August 16 night. The championship, jointly organized by Vietnam Mixed Martial Arts Federation and Cam Ranh Ward People's Committee, attracts 20 professional martial arts athletes of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

20 fighters will compete in 9 bouts in different weight classes. The highlight of the championship is the two fights for prestigious belts, including the women's bout between Lo Thi Phung (Ngoc Ho MMA) and Nguyen Vu Quynh Hoa (The Champ MMA) and men's bout between Le Van Tuan (Saigon Sports Club) and Tran Ngoc Luong (C88 Martial Arts - Fitness & Yoga). The winners of these title fights will receive a prize of VND200 million each; the runners-up will be awarded VND40 million each. For the remaining bouts, prize money will range from VND10 million to VND40 million, depending on the weight class.

This is the first time Lion Championship has been held in Khanh Hoa Province. The event is a precursor to Vietnam Mixed Martial Arts Federation's plan to make it an annual tournament starting next year. After Lion Championship 2025, the federation will offer the fighting cage to Cam Ranh Ward to help develop local martial arts movement.
