VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025: Race of first times

VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 takes place at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang Ward on August 24. With 13,000 participating runners, the race has the largest number of participants ever in the VnExpress Marathon system.

This is the 4th time VnExpress Marathon has taken place in the beautiful land of Nha Trang. According to the organizing board, this year's race features many new elements, from the scale, course to the prizes; all designed to enhance the runners’ experience. The race, running from August 22-24, will include a series of exciting side activities for participants. Notably, this year's Expo area, measuring 4,000 m², will be located within the 44-hectare Libera Nha Trang coastal urban complex. It will be open for the runners to check in and pick up their race kits. This marks the first time a VnExpress Marathon has held its Expo within a space inside a coastal urban area, which aims to improve the participants’ experience.

Within the framework of VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025, Kun Marathon takes place on at 2-4 Square August 23 morning with 2,000 runners aged 6-10. This year's Kun Marathon will once again feature artist Truong Giang and some well-known faces such as Tiktoker Tieu Ngao, Boi Boi Mike Den, Trong Thy, and Hao Khang. The presence of these guest artists is expected to provide a encouragement and create memorable event for young runners during their summer break before the new school year begins. In the afternoon of the same day, a music show takes place at the main stage at the Expo area.

VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 officially kicks off on August 24, featuring four distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km. All races will start and finish at 2-4 Square. With its diverse distances, the event continues to take place along stunning coastal road Tran Phu Street. The 42km race is particularly anticipated by many top amateur runners namely Trieu Tien Luyen, Kipchumba (Kenya athlete), Dan Quyet, Hua Thuan Longall. At last year's event in Nha Trang, Trieu Tien Luyen won the race with a finishing time of 2 hours, 39 minutes, and 27 seconds.

This year's VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang jerseys are designed to reflect the tropical coastal province’s distinctive landscape. The finisher shirts for the 21km and 42km distances have a unique design, featuring motifs of coral and coconut leaves, symbols of the ocean and vitality. Meanwhile, the VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 medal is an artistic representation of a seashell with soft, swirling lines with images of Tram Huong Tower and Do Theater, architectural symbols of Nha Trang.

VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 give more prizes to elderly runners. Specifically, the prizes in full marathon (42km) expand from top 3 to top 5 in 50-59 and over-60 age groups. This is the first time the VnExpress Marathon has applied this, which aims to honor the enthusiasm and inspiring sports spirit of these elderly athletes. VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 aims to be more than just a sports event but a journey of discovery that will help promote the image of a modern Nha Trang and inspire a healthy and active lifestyle, connecting sports lovers in Vietnam and internationally.
