In about a week, the second round of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will kick off at Ninh Binh sports arena. According to the schedule, in the men's event, there will be 2 matches between Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong Tan Cang, Ho Chi Minh City Police and Da Nang on October 7. In women's event, Bank for Industry and Trade meet Geleximco Hung Yen, and Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals play Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement on the same day.

After the end of the first round (taking place in Hanoi in March), in the men's event, Ho Chi Minh City Police and Border Guard are holding the top two positions with a record of 5 unbeaten matches; Hanoi are at the bottom of the rankings without a win. In women's event, LP Bank Ninh Binh are leading with 5 consecutive wins; Ho Chi Minh are placing at the bottom of the rankings after 5 consecutive losses. The battle for the top 4 teams to enter the semi-finals, competing for the championship and the ticket to stay in the league in the second round is expected to be dramatic.

Entering the 2025 season, Sanest Khanh Hoa faced many challenges regarding its roster following the withdrawal of its sponsor. Thanks to the solidarity and dedication of key players namely Van Tien, Trung Truc, Quang Doan, Thanh Phuong, Phuc Loc, Sanest Khanh Hoa managed to secure encouraging wins. Sanest Khanh Hoa finished round 1 on 5th position with 6 points after 2 wins and 3 losses. In round 2, Sanest Khanh Hoa will play 2 matches against formidable opponents, The Cong Tan Cang and Da Nang. The opening match against The Cong is predicted to be a tough one. "Sanest Khanh Hoa’s goal is avoiding relegation, but if we can overcome both opponents in round 2, we have a chance of making it into the top 4 for the final round," said head coach Ngo Van Kieu.

In order to prepare for the upcoming matches, Sanest Khanh Hoa have bolstered its roster with a quality foreign player. Opposite hitter Pereyra Federico (Argentinian nationality) will join Sanest Khanh Hoa in round 2 with hopes of helping the team avoid relegation and perhaps even break into the top tier. Prior to signing with Sanest Khanh Hoa, Pereyra Federico played for leading clubs in Spain’s, Chile’s, and Argentina’s leagues. Pereyra Federico is currently training with his Sanest Khanh Hoa teammates to prepare for the upcoming matches.

Last week, Sanest Khanh Hoa had a quality training session in Vinh Long Province and Hanoi. Sanest Khanh Hoa participated in Vinh Long open tournament 2025 - Chau Thoi Cup 620, playing against Lavie Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long and won the championship. 

With the joining of the quality foreign player and careful preparation, hopefully Sanest Khanh Hoa will secure positive results and successfully stay in the league.
