National First Division 2025 – 2026 round 4: Khatoco Khanh Hoa win against Quang Ninh 

Nguyen Doan Duy Anh scored the only goal of the match to help Khatoco Khanh Hoa win away against Quang Ninh in round 4 of the National First Division 2025 – 2026.

Before the match, both Quang Ninh and Khatoco Khanh Hoa were level on 6 points, each having 2 wins and 1 loss. In terms of strength and competences, the two teams were considered quite balanced. Quang Ninh have been gradually rebuilding the image of Quang Ninh football, while Khatoco Khanh Hoa had barely managed to keep their league spot. Nevertheless, the newcomers Quang Ninh were considered slightly superior Khatoco Khanh Hoa as their roster boasted quality names such as Nguyen Xuan Tu, Mac Hong Quan, Vu Minh Tuan, and Bui Long Nhat.

Playing at home at Cam Pha Stadium gave Quang Ninh an advantage against visitors Khatoco Khanh Hoa. Despite Quang Ninh's efforts, they failed to break down the visitors' solid defense, which was coupled with inaccurate finishing, leading to a home loss. This marked Khatoco Khanh Hoa's first away win and their third win of the season. With this result, Khatoco Khanh Hoa got 9 points, holding firm to second place in the standings (behind Truong Tuoi Dong Nai, 10 points). Having lost at home, Quang Ninh dropped to 4th place.  Ho Chi Minh City rose to 4th place after wining 5-0 over Youth Ho Chi Minh City.

In round 5, Khatoco Khanh Hoa will receive Youth PVF - Public Security, a "freshly promoted" side considered to be a well-matched challenge, at 19-8 Nha Trang Stadium.
