4 beach volleyball athletes of Khanh Hoa Province will take part in SEA Games 33 scheduled to take place in Thailand in December 2025. Khanh Hoa’s female athlete, Nguyen Le Thi Tuong Vy, and her teammates secured a gold medal and a silver medal at the national 4x4 beach volleyball championships and national 2x2 team beach volleyball championships. This time, Tuong Vy is also called up to the national team for SEA Games 33. This is her third time joining the national team. Her best achievement so far is a bronze medal with her teammates (Thanh Tram, My Nga, Ngoc Lan) in the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia in 2021. For the upcoming 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, Vietnam women's beach volleyball team is aiming to obtain another bronze medal or even a gold medal.

As the host, Thai women's volleyball team is expected to successfully defend their gold medal. Therefore, Vietnam women's team will most likely compete for the silver medal against 2 other strong contenders Indonesia and the Philippines. In the 2025 Nha Trang International Beach Volleyball Tournament, Tuong Vy and her partner defeated Desi Ratnasari and Nur Atikasari (the pair who won silver in the 32nd SEA Games) of Indonesia in the women’s final. If they can maintain their current form, the "golden girl" of Khanh Hoa beach volleyball and her national teammates are fully capable of securing a good achievement in Thailand this coming December.

As for the men's event, all 3 Khanh Hoa athletes called up to the national team this time are the debutant at SEA Games. Among them, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Le Hoang Y are both young, potential athletes of Khanh Hoa men's team. In recent national youth championships, Anh Tuan and Hoang Y and their teammates had a very successful season, earning excellent individual titles and helping Khanh Hoa beach volleyball team affirm their leading position with 3 gold medals.

Currently, in Southeast Asian region, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines are the strong contenders in beach volleyball. Therefore, for Khanh Hoa young male athletes, the upcoming national team training camp to prepare for SEA Games 33 in Thailand will be a good opportunity to gain experience at a large-scale playground.
