These days, preparations for the competition are being actively carried out, promising a high-quality competition of international level.

Every year between November and March, the beach area in My Hoa Hamlet enters its peak kitesurfing season. Thanks to favorable weather for kitesurfing and potential to drive tourism, this year's My Hoa kitesurfing competition is expected to reach a new level.

Taking place in 3 days from January 15 to 17, 2026, My Hoa international kitesurfing competition 2026 is expected to attract between 200 and 250 domestic and international athletes. The competition is expected to transform My Hoa into a world-class venue for international kitesurfing events.

Reportedly, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has reached out to kitesurfing clubs in the province and across regions like Da Nang and Lam Dong to attract participants. According to Myhoa Lagoon - Kiting Town, to ensure the competition’s high professional standards, the company has invited a 2024 world champion to serve as a judge. Regarding the participants, they plan to invite 40 to 50 athletes to compete in all categories, from amateur to professional levels. Currently, most kitesurfing clubs in My Hoa beach area are eagerly for the competition.

Other preparations for the competition, including advertisement, security, traffic safety, sea safety, medical services, and power grid stability, have been meticulously planned. During a meeting with related departments and local authorities about the organization of My Hoa international kitesurfing competition 2026, Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People Committee, emphasized that the province is one of the few locations in Vietnam with the ideal geography and weather to host large-scale international kitesurfing events. This is a significant sports and tourism event that is expected to contribute to promoting the local image and diversifying coastal tourism products. Through this competition, Khanh Hoa aims to gradually build a brand for its unique sea sporting events.
