Following a 2-0 win in the first leg at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Vietnam hold a strong advantage in both score and home support. For the second leg, Coach Kim Sang-sik's side only needs a draw or even a single-goal defeat to secure the championship title.

Despite holding a strong advantage, Vietnam must remain focused because are formidable opponents in Southeast Asia and are unlikely to concede easily. Head coach Kim Sang-sik's side must maintain complete focus to defend their championship title on home field.
