Nha Trang in festive mood for Christmas, New Year

With over 1 week to go before Christmas, the festivities are already underway...

 

With over 1 week to go before Christmas, the festivities are already underway at many hotels and resorts in Nha Trang City.

Nha Trang Center is attractive with the Snowman, Santa Claus, Reindeer and traditional decorations, including bells, candles, candy canes, stockings, wreaths, and angels.

Gorgeous Christmas trees decorated with colorful ornaments and lights can be seen in front of Sheraton Nha Trang, Sunrise Nha Trang, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang and Novotel Nha Trang.

Many hotels are making Christmas celebration more meaningful with charity activities. Children at Nhan Ai Charity House have had a wonderful night lighting up the Christmas tree, enjoying feasts, singing and receiving gifts from the Santa Claus at Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel.

“Besides business, we have also taken social responsibilities. We hope to bring a merry Christmas and a happy new year to all children,” Catherine Racsko, General Director of Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel says.

A U.S tourist named Cacy says, “It is great to enjoy Christmas here with the lovely children.”

Sunrise Nha Trang Hotel has sent messages of love to the unfortunate at the Christmas tree-lighting up night attended by children from the Huong Duong Orphanage.

Particularly, the proceeds from the sales of hand-made products, such as vases, laces, etc made by Khanh Hoa Psychiatrics Hospital patients were donated to the hospital charity kitchen.

SOS Nha Trang Children’s Village has also welcomed the festive season with the annual lighting of Christmas tree and musical performances. At the event, buche cakes were sold to raise fund for HIV-infected children in Vietnam.

Thap Ba Hot Spring Centre has launched a special promotional program, VND900,000 – 800,000 – 700,000 – 600,000 off VIP Spa services, with a total cost of VND144 million.

Besides Christmas celebration, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel is preparing for a New Year festive 2013 with traditional music and 2012 balloons flying up with the best wishes for the new year.

A charming Nha Trang show is expected to take place at Sunrise Nha Trang Hotel with Cham dance, folk music and traditional martial arts. Traditional craft, including mat weaving and hat sewing, will also be introduced to visitors on this occasion.

Buffets with a magic performance, music show by Cuban band (Warapo), unicorn dance, etc will be avalable at Sheraton Nha Trang.
