In 2012, Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Association held many activities for the development of sustainable tourism, including the selection of the top 48 excellent and prestigious tourism destinations in such categories as restaurants; entertainment areas, discotheques, coffee bars; health club & spa; water sport; travel operation; vestiges, preservation, religious sites.

Orchids Stream Tourist Site was recognized in the winning list of the top 48 tourism destinations.
Le Dung Lam, the director of Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company says, “We have various interesting products, such as ostrich ride, elephant ride, traditional food, water sport, etc. Our company will make more effort to meet the growing tourist demand.”
“Over 10 years of operation, we have always made commitment to the local hospitality industry to attract more and more visitors. Tourists will feel completely relaxed and comfortable at Thap Ba Hot Spring Centre, which receives some 400,000 arrivals a year,” says Huynh Thi Kim Cuc, the director of Century 21 Corporation (C21).
Vo Dinh Thu, the general secretary of Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, the event aims to honor quality tourism destinations and raise tourism businesses' awareness of their responsibility for keeping their prestige.
Besides, in 2012, the tourism association in cooperation with the Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism held talks to find solutions to travel business problems, received a tourism survey delegation to Khanh Hoa, signed tourism cooperation agreements with Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong Province, etc.
In 2013, Khanh Hoa is expected to see many big events, including Sea Festival, International Sea Travel Expo 2013 - Nha Trang - Vietnam (ISTE Nha Trang – Vietnam 2013) and so on.
In addition, the association will make plans on tourism development cooperation with central coastal provinces, promote the implementation of signed tourism development cooperation agreements with Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong Province in an effort to provide the tourism images of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa as an appealing holiday destination for tourists at home and abroad.
Lam Duy Anh Cuong, the chairman of Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, priority will be given to tourism marketing with such activities as creating Khanh Hoa Tourism Association website, publish Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa photo books, in cooperation with travel businesses hold tourism promotion events in major regional markets, etc.
