After 3 years of operation, the pedestrian mall under the Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company has become a unique entertainment and shopping destination for local residents and tourists.

The mall was founded in 2012 with only 40 stalls selling mostly handicraft items. Revelers now can have a wide range of gift choices among various ornaments made of shells, dried seafood, paintings and many more at over 100 stalls.
Besides, the pedestrian mall is also a perfect place to enjoy a fantastic gastronomic treat with dishes of both Vietnamese and foreign cuisines.
With nearly 1 month to go before the Lunar New Year 2013, the mall has been in a festive mood.
All the booths are beautifully decorated with colorful lights and ornamental plants, impressive New Year greetings, a Christmas tree made of salanganes nest jars, etc.
Le Thi Quynh Nhu, a visitor from Ho Chi Minh City says the pedestrian mall has added attraction to Nha Trang tourist destination.
Exotic sea shell souvenirs, pearl bracelets and ceramic items are among the best-selling products at the pedestrian mall.
Hoang Thi Thuy, a shop owner at the mall says, many tourists are interested in vases, night-lamps, make-up boxes made from shells and stone paintings of Vietnam and Nha Trang landscapes.
Besides, brocade bags, clothing and lacquer paintings are also available to keep buyers busy all the time among overabundance of the finest souvenirs.
All the booths at the pedestrian mall have been geared up to welcome the approaching Lunar New Year.
