Long Phu Tourist Company has urgently completed a plan to prepare for the Festival of Mountain of Fruits and Flowers expected to take place on Lao Island known as Monkey Island.

Hon Lao Tourist Site has been in a festive mood these days. The festival program director Nguyen Nhu Binh says, “I am satisfied with the effort of the company staff. Just after a month, they can perform quite well, although they are amateur actors and actresses.”

This festival will enchant sightseers with its extravaganza of music and color from numerous interesting activities featuring the culture and life of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. There will be a monkey God statute procession with colorful flags, fans and parasols.
Visitors can join the event, walking for 500 meters to the so-called Mountain of Fruits and Flowers where many other interesting activities will be held. It will be funny to see monkeys dressed as beautiful girls dancing and bringing fruit trays.
In addition, there will be exciting games for visitors such as monkey dance, coconut fruit picking, prokar car race and so on.
Andrey Miakov, a Russian tourist says, "I have seen the festival rehearsal and I find it quite strange and fascinating. I will return here to join the festival if I have a chance.”

Considered as a kingdom of monkeys in Nha Trang, Hon Lao has become a famous eco-tourism destination, which can give a sense of peace, serenity and harmony with nature.

The festival is designed the mark the Sea Festival Nha Trang 2013 and the World Environment Day (June 5). “We plan to hold this festival annually on the world Environment Day to raise public awareness of environmental protection and wildlife,” says Le Dung Lam, Director of Long Phu Tourist Company.
The festival is expected to add more attraction to the Hon Lao Tourist Site.
