There will be various tourism events with the participation of travel operators and businesses during the Sea Festival 2013.
Truong Dang Tuyen, Director of Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism says the festival this year will feature many regional and international tourism events in Nha Trang. This will be a great chance for Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa to exchange experience and cooperate with partners at home and abroad.

The festival will include a workshop on tourism product development in central coastal provinces scheduled to take place on June 9 with the participation of some 350 representatives who are leaders of 9 provinces and domestic and international tourism businesses.
The first International Sea Travel Expo Nha Trang – Vietnam 2013 (ISTE Nha Trang – Vietnam 2013) will be held on June 7-10 at Diamond Bay. 80 international customers from Portugal, France, Russia, Australia, Singapore and Spain have registered to join the event.
In addition, other international events will include an international marine cruise workshop presided over by Vietnam Tourism Administration (The Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism), a special session on tourism products and marketing in ASEAN countries and so on.
Besides, there will be the “Mountain and fruit” festival held by Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company at Lao Island on June 5, a teambuilding program by White Sand Corporation in Ninh Hoa Town on June 7-9, Nha Trang Tourism golf tournament by Pacific Dragon Company at 18-hole Diamond Bay course on June 8-9 with the participation of about 130 players and Yang Bay legend program at Yang Bay Tourist Park (Khanh Vinh District) on June 9.
Others will include a cocktail preparation performance, night fishing tours, a food festival, etc.
Phan Thanh Truc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism says, preparations for the festival have been hastened and everything has gone smoothly.
Tourism businesses are eager to join the event as the festival will be a good chance for their business marketing as well as the tourism promotion of Khanh Hoa Province.
Scheduled take place in a peak summer season for a few days, the festival is expected attract a big number of visitors to Nha Trang. The Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism has implemented measures to secure room price stability.
Much effort has been made to make sure that the sea festival 2013 will be a wonderful rewarding experience for both locals and visitors.
