On May 31, Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee presided over a press conference on the Sea Festival and the International Sea Travel Expo Nha Trang – Vietnam 2013.
The organizing board announced 64 cultural, sporting and tourism activities at the festival.
The Sea Festival 2013 is expected to run on June 8-11, 2013 with such main activities as the opening night (June 8), street parade (June 10), closing night (June 11), International Sea Travel Expo Nha Trang – Vietnam 2013 (opening on June 8).
Besides, other activities include a workshop on marine resources and environment in central coastal provinces, salangane festival, coffee festival, Sanna Cup volleyball tournament and many more.
200 journalists have registered to work at the Sea Festival 2013.
Besides, there are important tourism activities outside the festiveal program such as the international cruise ship workshop held by Vietnam Tourism Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism) and a special session on tourism products and marketing in ASEAN countries.
