Over one year, Binh Ba Island in Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province has become an interesting destination to tourists who love to explore natural and deserted places.
Emergent tourist destination
Binh Ba has a lot of potentials for tourism, but it has just been awaken recently. Now, tours to Binh Ba have been operated and introduced much on travel firms’ websites. Online news firms also praise the island with beautiful images. With fantastic landscape, nice beaches, original coastal culture and hospitality, Binh Ba has become attractive, especially to active young travelers.
Costing VND700,000 – VND1.5 million, a 2 day/1night tour to Binh Ba brings travelers new experience such as home-stay, lobster cage visit, seafood enjoyment, dawn and sunset contemplation on beaches, dive and beach dinner.
“Joining our tour to Binh Ba, travelers can experience fishing, processing seafood by themselves, living like fishermen as well as enjoying fresh air and blue sea here”, said Lam Ngoc Co, director of Tan Hiep Tourism – Trading Co., Ltd.
The big tour operator Vietravel has recently made a permission to carry tourists to Binh Ba Island.

. Binh Ba needs oriented development
Its advantages help Binh Ba draw more and more tourists. At present, there are 4 boats carrying visitors to the island and 12 service spots on the island. The number of visitors often rises on weekends, up to 300 a day. Then, the residents here can earn some money from rooms for rent and other services.
However, Binh Ba tour operation is only spontaneous. Visitors to Binh Ba are mainly locals as foreigners are still not allowed to reach here. Cam Ranh City has just proposed Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee giving permission to foreign tourists to come to the island. Anyway, tourism development associated to security guard must be ensured.
