Along with increasing prices, some tourist spots in Nha Trang have raised their ticket prices recently. The rise aims to improve products’ quality to serve tourists.

Not sharply like in Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An, the increase in Nha Trang was only slightly and reasonably. For example, tours to Hoa Lan Stream and Monkey Island of Long Phu Tourist Company rose by VND10,000 to VND100,000/person; entrance tickets for Ponagar Temple and Chong Rock increased from VND16,000/person to VND21,000/person; 4-islands tours car transport, boat transport and lunch went up from VND120,000 to VND154,000; ticket for Tri Nguyen Aquarium rose from VND50,000 to VND64,000; ticket for Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography and Bao Dai Villa also rose by VND5,000 and Vinpearl Land put ticket price for its amusing park up from VND450,000 to VND500,000.

The above price increases are considered to be not too high and reasonable, getting sympathy from travel businesses. “The price increases in some tourist spots in Nha Trang are inconsiderable, not influencing much on tourists as well as our company’s operation.”

To tourist spots, the increase in ticket prices makes up for their cost and invests some new services.

With the increase in ticket price, Vinpearl Land has launched new games and new activities, especially on holidays. Hoa Lan Stream and Monkey Island of Long Phu Tourist Company also have new items and games to make themselves more attractive. The Institute of Oceanography added up more specimen and opened exhibition on Spratly. Guides of Ponagar Temple and Chong Rock were  trained Russian. According to Phan Thanh Truc, deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, all ticket increase in tourist spots meet regulations and ensure services’ quality, not making tourists shocked. It’s an effort of tourist businesses in the province.
