The number of international arrivals to Vietnam in September has reached 614,827, increasing by 28.9% year-on-year, raising the figure in 9 months of the year to 5,490,274, rising by 9.9% year-on-year and fulfilling 76.25% of the 2013’s target, which is set to be 7.2 foreign tourists in the whole year.
Some markets with sharp increase in the number of international tourists are Russia (65.9%), China (37%), Thailand (23.1%), New Zealand (20.5%), Indonesia (19.9%), Malaysia and Australia (12.5%).

The number of domestic tourists in the 9 months has hit 31 million, 11% up.
The total income from tourism is estimated to be VND152,800 billion, rising by 23.5% year-on-year.
