. Many benefits from vacation ownership
Vacation ownership is a period of time (days or weeks per year) that you can buy for a specific property (usually a residence at a resort) or multi-destination club, during which the right-to-use the property belongs to you. The idea is that you benefit by "pre-paying" for a vacation place rather than renting it, as you might otherwise do. The profit that would have gone to the rental stays in your pocket. Under a vacation ownership plan you agree to a one-time purchase price and an annual maintenance fee, Vacation ownership purchasers own their accommodation time and purchase the right-to-use it for a specified number of years.
In a right-to-use vacation ownership you are essentially taking a lease on a property, usually for one to two weeks a year, for a specific period of time (generally 15 years to 50 years, or for the lifetime of the owner). You can think of this kind of vacation ownership as similar to booking a cottage rental in advance, except that in most cases you can rent, give away, or sell your time to someone else whenever you like.
“My family has a vacation ownership card. In June every year, we gather at any resort in America, England, China and Isarel to spend vacation. This is our precious pleasure time”, said Brian Martin, director of a tourist business.

. Nha Trang ideal for vacation ownership
Being an interesting destination, Nha Trang has some luxury resorts to supply vacation ownership, including MerPerle Hon Tam Resort, Fusion Maia Cam Ranh (to be opened in 2016) and Alma Vietnam (planned to start construction in early 2014).
MerPerle Hon Tam Resort is offering vacation ownership with the price from USD1,000. Buyers will own a vacation lasting from 1 to 2 weeks a year with high-quality services in the resort.
According to two investors of Fusion Maia Cam Ranh and Alma Vietnam projects, when the resorts go into operation, they can connect with resorts in the world to build up vacation ownership products which allow buyers not only to stay in them but in resorts in other countries. “Aiming to Vietnamese guests, Alma resort’s design focuses on habits of Vietnamese people. However, vacation ownership is a high-class tourist product; therefore, buyers are those who have an average income of VND30 million – VND40 million a month”, said David Leibel, Alma’s investor.
Vacation ownership promises to bring Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa a stable number of high-spending tourists each year in the future, which will partly promote tourism of the province.
