Hash House Harriers, a kind of travel, has appeared in Nha Trang and has attracted more and more participants since having its first run in February, 2013.
Walking and running
Wearing casual clothes, sports shoes and hat, we gathered at Patrick Wine Bar, 3/3 Tran Quang Khai St., Nha Trang, with other 45 people one Sunday afternoon for a Hash tour. Then, a bus carried us to a secret location which none of us knew. It made the trip more interesting.
The bus released us in a countryside area. We were divided into 5 groups and started walking and running with designed trails for a set place. We followed arrows and turned back when meeting cross. On the way to the finish, we enjoy the peaceful sights and fresh air of the countryside. Sometimes, we stopped to take some pictures. It was an exciting time and it’s a chance for us to make friends with whom were our fellow-travelers. The strange tour made us much impressive.

Interesting tour
Nha Trang Hash House Harriers tour is operated by Ever Blue Travel. Meeting every Sunday, the Hash bus leaves Patrick Wine Bar at 3pm sharp to a different secret location in Nha Trang countryside each week. The Hash tour will take joiners to Nha Trang suburbs in such communes as Vinh Thai, Vinh Ngoc, Phuoc Dong, Vinh Trung and Vinh Phuong.
Nha Trang Hash House Harriers is the youngest of the 4 Vietnamese chapters and a part of the largest sporting club in the world, has been known more by tourists who love sports and want to discover Nha Trang. The first run in February had about 20 joiners and the figure has risen to 50 each week now.

Hash caters to everyone from moderately fit walkers to serious runners and being non competitive is aimed at purely having fun. It’s a great melting pot with all nationalities welcome and everyone has a great time together.
It cost each only VND100,000 which includes the bus ride, the run, food and drink. After expenses, all the rest of money will be donated to local charity funds, said Ms. Maureen, Nha Trang Hash tour operator.
