Despite economic difficulties, Vietnam’s tourism has achieved a remarkable growth in 2013.
In the first ten months of the year, the country welcomed 6.12 million international tourists and 32.5 million domestic ones. The direct turnover of tourism reached VND165,000 billion, excluding earnings from air tickets. With such a speed, the figure is expected to reach 7.4 – 7.5 million international tourists and 35 million domestic ones with a total tourism turnover of VND195,000 billion in the end of the year.

Thus, the target of 7.4 – 7.5 million international tourists for 2015 set in Vietnam Tourism Developing Strategy till 2020 and view to 2030 will be finished 2 years in advance.
