Christmas atmosphere has been seen in Nha Trang City these days with lighted Christmas trees, Santa Claus, snowmen, sleighs appearing in many places.
. Christmas trees lighted up
To mark the start of Christmas season, big hotels in Nha Trang have organized Christmas lighting-up ceremonies.
“What a surprise! I can feel a Christmas atmosphere like in my home country”, Bill Wadman, an American tourist, said when attending a ceremony to light up a 6.5 meter Christmas tree with 700 baubles at Novotel.

Sunrise Nha Trang Hotel and Sheraton Nha Trang also held eventful Christmas tree lighting-up ceremonies with music, dances and funny games.
Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel, which always highlights the city in Christmas season with splendid decoration and record Christmas trees every year, has lighted up a 14-meter-high one made of 10,000 Vikoda plastic bottles in front of the hotel. The event attracted a lot of locals and tourists.

Meanwhile, Vinpearl Land welcomes guests by Christmas music and sparkling colors from many Christmas trees along its beach and paths.
. Meaningful messages
Not only creating a festive atmosphere, Christmas carries meaningful messages. For instance, Novotel displayed handicraft products made by handicapped children of Khanh Hoa Child Education and Rehabilitation Center to call support from tourists. The hotel also sold Christmas cake to raise the charity fund. The activity met with warm response of tourists.

Sunrise Nha Trang Hotel coordinated with Khanh Hoa Mental Hospital and Sao Mai Center for Handicapped Children to sell handicraft products to raise funds.
The Christmas tree made of 10,000 plastic bottles in front of Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel aims to send a message of environment protection and recycling. “Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel always sets up a special Christmas tree to decorate the hotel. Our Christmas tree this year was made of plastic to call locals and tourists to protect environment”, said General Director of the hotel Dong Luong Son.
