Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing People’s Committee Tran Son Hai recently had a meeting with representatives of hotels, resorts and restaurants with an aim to listen to their ideas about bettering the street along Nha Trang beach.
The meeting focused on three issues; those are scenery, public order and beach uses.
At the meeting, many ideas were contributed to beautifying scenery for seaside Tran Phu Street. “Making the city good-looking is the responsibility for all. However, the authority of the province and the city need to have specific methods to call businesses to join force in it”, representative of a hotel suggested. According to another hotel representative, the city should give more care to car parking, public toilets, beach environment and decoration light.

About using beach, hotels asked more simple proceedings for organizing parties on the beach. The businesses also desired benches and umbrellas on the beach installed more orderly.
To public order, the businesses’ view was that there should be more police force to deal with cases timely.
According to Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing People’s Committee Tran Son Hai, all the ideas have been recorded and will be solved in the time to come. He commanded the city’s People Committee to do a check-up according to the ideas brought out in the meeting. “With the combination between the administration and the businesses, Tran Phu Street will have a better appearance soon”, hoped the Deputy Chairman.
