The Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just made a decision to transform Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel into a tourist destination.
Accordingly, all administrative offices, army units and schools in the inner citadel will be moved and their land will be changed into land for tourist services, urban services and multifunction wards. The citadel also will become a walking area at some times to attract more tourists.

Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel was built in 1793 in the reign of Nguyen Lords. It was ranked as a national-level historic vestige in 1988.
