Bike tours have become more and more popular. In Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa now, there are some companies operating bike tours for tourists to discover the land.
Taking a tour by Bike Trip Viet Nam Co., Ltd. one day, I gathered with some foreign tourists and domestic ones from Ho Chi Minh City at the company’s office, 84 Hung Vuong Street, Nha Trang at 7 am. The tour we took begun from the pass top Khanh Le (Khanh Vinh District) and ended to Lung Bridge (Dien Khanh District). A car carried us and our bikes to the pass top. It took about one hour. After that, we checked up our bikes and started cycling. From the height 1,500 meters above sea level, the bikes went down the pass very fast. The speed sometimes came up to 50 kilometers/hour. Beside the adventurous feeling, the trip brought new experiences when passing by natural landscape of mountains and forests. Sometimes, we stopped for a while to take photographs, and then set off again.

When we arrived at villages of the ethnic minority Raglai, the tourist guide introduced us about the life of people here, which surprised us, especially foreign tourists, much. David Baron, a British tourist, said, “We’ve booked this tour 3 months in advance. When taking it, I’m completely satisfied. Only in one day, the tour has made me know a lot about the countryside here.”
In Nha Trang, routes for bike tours often are Nha Trang - Ba Ho (Ninh Hoa District), Khanh Le Mountain Pass (Khanh Vinh District) – Lung Bridge (Dien Khanh District), Nha Trang – Bai Dai, Nha Trang – Hon Ba (Cam Lam District), Nha Trang countryside tour and Nha Trang city tour. “People who take bike tours are discovery lovers, mainly foreign tourists. Most of them used to join similar tours before”, said Nguyen Tu Xuyen, director of Bike Trip Viet Nam Co., Ltd..
