Khanh Hoa Science and Technology Council has just checked and ranked a scientific project themed "Research on the development of handicraft products for tourism in Khanh Hoa Province" as a moderately good provincial-level project. The project' chief is Phan Thanh Truc, deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The research project assesses the actuality of handicrafts and their products for tourism and suggests some ways to develop them in the period of 2013 - 2020. For instance, the provincial People's Committee should have policies to support makers and traders of handicraft products, promote advertising handicraft products to tourists, organize contests for souvenir products and so on.
