Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism attracts the press

Reflecting the local tourism activities abundantly and actively, the media has contributed in bringing Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa closers to tourists.

 

For many years, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has reserved a tourism page on Wednesdays and Sundays every week. Khanh Hoa Online also has tourism column which not only features tourism information in the province but introduces tourist destinations to tourists. Aiming to foreign readers, Khanh Hoa News, the English version of Khanh Hoa Online, focuses on propagandize Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa’s images to foreign tourists.

 

Khanh Hoa Television and Radio (KTV) has a lot of reports about tourism on its daily news, which are spoken in Vietnamese, English and French. The channel also makes many other tourism programs broadcast weekly. Besides, KTV often sends articles about local tourism to Vietnam Television, Vietnam Radio and other provinces’ television and radio to be broadcast on their channels.

Moreover, many newspapers, magazines and television channels in the country always show interest in tourism in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa. For example, Lao Dong Online has set up a column about Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa sea tourism; Ho Chi Minh City Travel Magazine has articles about Khanh Hoa tourism in every edition. On VTV1 television channel, there are often reports about Khanh Hoa tourism on programs such as “Good morning” or “Daily Life”, made by the branch of Vietnam Television in Phu Yen Province. HTV7 of Ho Chi Minh City Television also often introduces Khanh Hoa tourism in their program called Active Vietnam Travel. Recently, the provincial Department of Communication and Information has cooperated with VTC to make two reports about tourism and cuisine of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa. The reports, 30 minutes each, have English subtitles.

 

Being aware of the significance of media in popularize the local tourism, for many years, the province has encouraged press works. According to Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Communication and Information Pham Duy Loc, the press has partly popularize the image of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa in the country and abroad.
