The Vietnam Railway Corporation announced to reduce train ticket prices during the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) 2015 by 17% over the current prices and by 20% year-on-year.
Tickets of trains from 12 to 17, February, 2015 on the route from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and from 22 to 28, February, 2015 on the route from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City will be refunded 70% of the fare.
As planned, online booking system for tickets on Tet 2015 will be open on December 1, 2014.
