The passenger is Chiganova Elena arriving Cam Ranh International Airport at 12:40 on the flight KAR 2511 of Ikar Airlines departing from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She was given gifts by Vietnamese businesses. Gifts were also offered to the 1,999,998th, 1,999,999th , 2.000.001st , and 2.000.002nd passengers.

According to Phan Le Hoan, director of Cam Ranh International Airport, receiving the 2,000,000th passenger is a mark in the airport’s development. Of the total figure, there are 1,429,403 domestic passengers and 570,597 international ones.
