Being a well-known tourist spot in Khanh Hoa Province but not invested well, Truong Xuan Hot Spring hasn’t promoted its values and potentials.
Truong Xuan Hot Spring, 20 kilometers apart from Ninh Hoa Town (Khanh Hoa Province), covers an area of nearly 50 hectares with natural landscapes of forests. The destination owns a source of hot mineral water at 80°C. In early morning, the steam makes the tourist area in dew.
Up to now, there hasn’t been no official recognition for medical properties of the hot mineral water Truong Xuan. However, according to the local people, many people have escaped from arthralgia or skin diseases owning to soaking in the hot mineral water here. According to Pham Van Nghe, director of Thanh Cong Joint Stock Company – Khanh Hoa Branch (directly managing this tourist area), medical properties of Truong Xuan Hot Spring are shown by related notes, mainly details telling that some items for health care were built here before 1975.

However, few tourists have known and come to Truong Xuan Hot Spring. They come here for sightseeing and mineral water bath. Most of them are local people.
Many travel firms in Nha Trang that are planning to develop tours to the west of Ninh Hoa Town have surveyed Truong Xuan Hot Spring as a destination in their tour programs. Travel firms operating Nha Trang – Buon Ma Thuot tour also expressed their care to this tourist spot. However, despite being highly appreciated for the wild nature and valuable mineral water, Truong Xuan Hot Spring hasn’t been as a place to attract tourists. Accounting for the situation is that the tourist area hasn’t been given good investment in tourist services.
About this problem, Pham Van Nghe, director of Thanh Cong Joint Stock Company – Khanh Hoa Branch said that the company hasn’t made investment in Truong Xuan Hot Spring because of worries about taking back capital. The company has carried out three surveys for a plan to build this spot with guest house, restaurant, swimming pool, mud bath area, camping area, entertainment area, etc; but, the construction needs too big investment.
Su Hong Quoc Tinh, Vice-chairman of Ninh Tay Commune People’s Committee, said that the local authority and people desire Truong Xuan Hot Spring to be given more investment to make the most of its natural resources, contributing the local socioeconomic development.
