The holidays, lasting from April 28 to May 5, are considered as golden days for the tourism industry to stimulate domestic tourism. With its unique character, Nha Trang City remains an attractive destination to tourists.
Reportedly, most of hotels on the streets where many accommodation establishments located on have been full even before the holidays. Some small hotels have displayed the notice of available rooms; however, the room rate has been pushed up pretty high compared to normal days.

During these days, it is easy to find information about available rooms for holidays in Nha Trang City on some websites. However, there are many troubles visitors can encounter if they book rooms through websites which are not the official ones of tourism enterprises. Reportedly, during Tet occasion or high peek seasons, more and more people, working as middlemen, book hotel rooms in advance; after that, they advertise for sale those rooms in different forms to benefit the difference. Visitors who book rooms through these people often encounter some troubles such as not getting the hotel’s services or having to pay a higher room rate compared to the hotel’s quoted price.
According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on this year’s holiday, Nha Trang City will welcome most visitors in days from April 29 to May 1. In the three days, the hotels’ occupancy rate will be nearly 90%. The average occupancy rate throughout six festive days is expected to be from 85% to 90% (3 to 5-star hotels), 80% to 85% (2-star hotels), 75% to 80% (1-star hotels and below).
Beside international tourists who have been staying in Nha Trang City since before the holiday, the domestic ones are mostly from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, southwest provinces and some surrounding provinces.
According to Cam Ranh International Airport, from April 28 to May 3, there are 139 domestic flights and 16 international ones arriving at the airport.
Many accommodation establishments and amusement parks will hold numerous activities to serve the tourists. Sea and island tours are still the most favorite choice of visitors in Nha Trang. In addition, tourists can enjoy other tourism services, such as mud bath and forest ecotourism.
Many enterprises have registered to take part in the program to stimulus Khanh Hoa tourism 2015 with many discount and promotion programs applied for domestic visitors.
