Diving at Bai Dai
Taking a diving tour of Sealife Joint Stock Company one day, we had an interesting time to see the sea world in Bai Dai. In the depth of 5 meters, we saw a forest of colorful primeval corals. In 20-minute underwater trip, we walked on the smooth sand carpet, and saw swimming numerous fish and colorful corals. We also were taken some souvenir photographs in the sea water here.
Nguyen Huy Han, managing director of Sealife Joint Stock Company, revealed that after a careful survey, the company has chosen Bai Dai Beach to invest in sea games, including diving because Bai Dai is a very beautiful, potential beach, and the beach also has abundant coral reefs. The diving service of the company here has been liked by a lot of tourists.

Catching pearl oysters at Hon Tam
Recently, Hoang Gia Pearl Company has launched the tour of diving and catching pearl oysters at Hon Tam Island, a new tour not only in Nha Trang but in Vietnam as well. Ho Thanh Tuan, general director of Hoang Gia Pearl, said, “This tour aims to bring tourists an experience to explore the process to grow a pearl in an oyster. It also helps them to differentiate between real pearls and imitations.”
Hoang Gia Pearl is a majestic house of over 10 hectares on sea surface to more than 1 million forming-pearl oysters. Taking tour to Hoang Gian Pearl Farm, tourists can explore the process of pearl farming, watch craftsman manipulate pearls from the shells, or catch an Akyo oyster to take out the pearl and own it. Such a pearl costs about VND400,000 while the package tour is selling only from VND470,000 to VND850,000.
The general director of Hoang Gia Pearl also revealed that to develop this tour more, the company will embellish the scenery here and open more services. Especially, the company is planning to set up a pearl market in the seabed for tourists to dive, buy and sell pearls there.
In brief, along with diving tours on some islands like Hon Mun, Hon Mot, etc. diving in Bai Dai or catching pearl oysters in Hon Tam has diversified diving services in Nha Trang.
