On July 21 and 22, Minh Long I Co., Ltd. associated with Business Research & Enterprise Support Center organized the qualifying round in the Southern Central region and the Highlands of The Golden Spoon Awards. Competing in the contest were 21 teams with 63 cooks from restaurants, hotels and resorts in provinces Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Binh Dinh, Dak Lak and Kon Tum.

The chosen teams from the contest will compete in the semi-final round. The highest prize for the winner of the final round will be worth VND1 billion.
