With the aim to improve passenger serve, Nha Trang Railway has done a lot of effective measures, giving good results.

 

According to Le Hong Son, passenger deputy manager of Nha Trang Railway, to serve the higher and higher travel demand of passengers and goods transportation by train, Nha Trang Railway is building and upgrading some articles at Nha Trang Railway Station, which is planned to be finished in August. Hot cold water dispensers also have been installed at waiting halls at the station. At three stations Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa and Van Gia, there is one wheelchair each to serve the handicapped.

Besides, to improve the quality of service and competitive ability, comprehensive measures of propaganda and education to raise responsibility of the staff have been developed. Under the direction of the Minister of Transport, Nha Trang Railway trained the staff to be always polite, friendly and helpful to passengers, aiming to improve the image of Vietnamese railway in the eyes of passengers.

 

Nha Trang Railway also has intensified to supervise the staff, complete guide boards to facilitate passengers, and solve problems.

 

With useful measures, service quality of Nha Trang Railway has been improved more and more. ‘Being a frequent passenger, I see Nha Trang Railway Station’s service quality is very good. The staff always guide me enthusiastically and the ticket purchase is also convenient”, a person named Nguyen Thi Van in Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang said.

 

In the first half of 2015, Nha Trang Railway received more than 535,000 passengers, a 27% increase year-on-year. The six-month turnover from ticket sales reached nearly VND157 billion, rising by 13% year-on-year.
