Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on August 28 organized a workshop about theory and practice responsible tourism in tourism education and training in Vietnam. The workshop was participated by 100 people from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Training, the EU Delegation in Vietnam and 52 vocational schools in the country.
At the workshop, the participants discussed about the new context of tourism education and training in Vietnam, experience in bringing responsible tourism into tourism education and training, contributions and development tendency of responsible tourism.
The workshop is a part of the EU-funded Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Program.
