Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Airlines on December 24 jointly gave formal welcome to the 4 millionth visitor to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa in 2015. Permanent vice-chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai attended the event.

The 4 millionth visitor was Vlasenko Stanislav, Russian, who flied on flight VN 1362 of Vietnam Airlines from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. He was given gifts worth VND13 million. The 3,999,999th visitor named Ho Anh Minh (Vietnamese) and the 4,000,001st one named Naylor Jacqueline Denise (Australian) also were given valuable gifts. Other passengers of the flight got some gifts given by local tourist businesses.
Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa is estimated to receive more than 4.1 million visitors in 2015, a 16% rise over 2014. International ones make up 974,000. Tourism turnover of the province in the year is estimated to hit VND7,000 billion, an 16.8% increase over 2014. The whole province has over 610 accomodations for visitors with more than 20,000 rooms, including 10,6000 3-5 star ones.
