Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association has recently signed cooperation agreements with tourism associations. That has partly concretized the policy on cooperation for tourism development of Khanh Hoa Province.
An agreement signing ceremony for cooperation in tourism between Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association took place at Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, held from 24 to 27, March. According to Pernament Vice-chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association Nguyen Thi Khanh, after the agreement is signed, the two tourism associations will connect tourist businesses that are members of the associations to operate high-quality tours with reasonable prices to draw visitors to the two destinations. Additionally, the associations will facilitate and support tourist businesses with information, policies, survey on tourist spots, projects on tourism calling investment, etc.
Permanent vice-chairman of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association Nguyen Van Thanh added that under the agreement, Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City have to set up tours with better prices than usual, commit to sell tours at fixed prices with good quality and comply with regulations. Besides, tourist businesses will be facilitated to develop demand stimulation programs and supported in marketing on media. They also will have more chances to expand cooperation with partners and clients. “The agreement signing aims to concretize the policy on cooperation for tourism development signed by leaders of the two localities before. It also partly actuates the cooperation between tourist businesses of the two localities more closely and truly.”

On March 13, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association also signed a tourism cooperation agreement with Hai Phong Tourism Association. The cooperation is expected to help Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa have relationships and cooperation with tourist businesses in Hai Phong as well as some other Northern provinces. “We desire to cooperate with tourist businesses in Khanh Hoa to raise the source of tourists, expand our market and increase partners. Moreover, the cooperation can partly exploit potentials and advantages in tourism of the two sides”, said Pham Quang Vinh - Chairman of Hai Phong Tourism Association.
Also in March, 2016, Nha Trang branch of Vietnam Airlines signed a cooperation agreement with Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to run Nha Trang – Hai Phong flying route more effectively. Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines will offer preferential fares on this route for travel firms as well as take part in annual demand stimulation programs with Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association. Additionally, ticket booking, depositing and selling will be made in accordance with the agreement. Vietnam Airlines also will announce its policies on ticket fares to the tourism association timely. “Nha Trang – Hai Phong flying route has been launched for 4 months. However, only 50 – 55% of the seats on each flight have been filled. The cooperation is expected to increase the number of passengers. This is also a specific solution to concretize the cooperation agreement between leaders of Khanh Hoa Province and Vietnam Airlines”, said Ngo Van Xuan, head of Vietnam Airlines’ Nha Trang branch.
The signed cooperation agreements are expected to effectively contribute into the tourism cooperation between Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa with other destinations.
