Visitors to Nha Trang forecast to rise slightly on National Day vacation

The number of visitors to Nha Trang on the National Day vacation this year is forecast to make a slight increase.

Vacancies available, prices unchanged

Till August 30, there were a lot of vacancies in hotels under 3 stars from 2 to 4 September. “My hotel still has 10 vacant rooms. Room prices don’t increase”, said Edele Hotel’s receptionist. Manager of another hotel named Dung Thanh also said, “We’re still receiving bookings for the coming holiday. Room prices don’t change but there have been few bookings.”

Up to this time, it’s still possible to find some vacant rooms in 4-5 star hotels.

Visitors to tourist sites may rise slightly

Tran Dang Quang, sales manager of I-resort Nha Trang forecasts that the number of visitors to the tourist site may keep at about 2,000 per day as usual. Thap Ba Hot Spring also is expected to rise by 5% - 10% in comparison with usual.

The number of visitors to tourist sites on islands is expected to keep high but not increase sharply during the vacation. “We will still take about 300 tourists to our 4-island tour a day”, said Truong Thiet Vu, director of Tu Hai Tourist Company. Long Phu Tourist Company forecasts that two tourist sites Hoa Lan Island and Monkey Island will receive 1,500 – 2,000 visitors. Vinpearl Land Nha Trang estimates that the number of visitors may rise by 10%. Nhan Tam Ecological Tourist Site and Yang Bay Tourist Park also expect to welcome 1,000 – 2,000 visitors during the holiday.

Although the number of visitors to Nha Trang on the National Day vacation this year is forecast not to rise sharply, the local Department of Tourism has directed tourist businesses to ensure service quality as well as keep safety and security for tourists.
