Tourism of Khanh Hoa Province has kept a good grow rate in 2016 in 2016, reported by the provincial Department of Tourism. Tourism turnover of the whole province has reached VND8,300 billion, increasing by 20% year-on-year.
The numbers of tourists was 4.5 million (a 11.7% rise year-on-year), including 1.1 million foreigners tourists (rising by 18%). In 2016, 27 new hotels and resorts with 3,426 rooms have been put into operation, which raises the number of accommodations to 638 with 23,693 rooms.
The province’s tourism set target to receive 5.2 million tourists with 1.3 million foreign ones, and VND9,200 billion in tourism turnover.
