On May 11, Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, received Jordan Vogt-Roberts named Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam.

Nguyen Duy Bac introduced about the provincial development potentials and expressed his hope that Jordan Vogt-Roberts as “Kong: Skull Island” Director would feature Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa in his new film. Nguyen Duy Bac also invited Jordan Vogt-Roberts to attend the opening night of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival scheduled to take place this June.
On this first trip to Nha Trang, Jordan Vogt-Roberts expressed his interest in the unique beauty of Nha Trang beach in particular and Vietnam in general. As Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam, he expressed his responsibility to promote Vietnam destination to the world, contributing to sustainable tourism development; and promised to invite U.S directors, actors and actresses to Vietnam to discover and experience the landscapes. Jordan Vogt-Roberts also told about his plan to produce a short film to promote tourist attractions in Vietnam in the time to come.
